Well, it was a clinical performance by the Aussies this time. They could manage to win a T20 and One-Day International titles away from their home. According to our Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri, this loss is going to impact on the World cup 2019. He says the team India was struggling to win against the Aussies as the combinations were not up to the mark.

It is a wake-up call, the Indian team needs. But many cricketing analyst are eyeing on India first home One-Day International loss since 2015. The question that is on every Indian cricket fan’s mind is how big a setback is this as far as India’s chances in the World Cup is concerned?  Skipper feels that even though boys were motivated well pre-match, they couldn’t apply basics on the ground. Yes, as a captain of the team you should be optimistic, but the counter argument to that would be- would you say that you Indian would win a World cup if they had won this series against Aussies? Well, I don’t think so.

To the fact that India started experimenting a lot after their loss of 2-0 against Aussies, the team had a good strength of all-rounder and key bowlers. At times, too many experiments spoil the momentum of the team.
