With two more days to go for the mega event Indian Premier League, which is going to place at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai. Dhoni’s boys have involved themselves in the promotions and pre-match events. Well, the Captain cool has been knocking the ball really well in the nets. MS Dhoni will mostly bat at number 4 but we can be flexible, says the coach Stephen Fleming.

“Skipper batted pretty much at No. 4 last year but we do use him in a little bit of a flexible role, so that won’t change,” Fleming said at a media conference organized by Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni has been performing really at No.4 as he gets time to spend in the crease. He can accelerate with his strike rate after 15 overs of the game.

In the recent interview, Mahi was questioned at press meet that there team is being called “Daddy’s Team” as the team consists of players who are above 30?  He grinned at one of the reporter and said “Well, we are all 30+ but, still managed to win the title last year”.

There is a documentary, “Roar of the Lions” available on Hotstar featuring MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, DJ bravo and Ravindra Jadeja. This documentary is about spot-fixing allegations and how they made a come-back after being banned for 2-years from the IPL. Even though they were banned for two long years, fan following never decreased. It kept on increasing day by day.

“Dhoni’s form has been outstanding in the past 10 months. We have a new player as well(Kedar Jadhav) which is great. So, we are really happy with the batting order and the thoughts around that,” Coach Fleming added. When asked about CSK’s balance as compared to other teams, Fleming said, “We tend not to do it. Because if you start looking at other teams, you are trapped away from what is good or bad of your own. There is enough great players with each side, so it comes down to mindset, team environment and culture and winning big moments.”
