Nissan India has launched the updated flagship sedan Sunny 2017. Nissan Sunny is the manufacturer’s first launch in the New Year. New Nissan Sunny 2017 will be available across the dealership chain in the country starting today. On the other hand, the updated Sunny packs a bunch of new features. Interestingly, the company hasn’t hiked the prices and Nissan Sunny 2017 price. You can get the latest variant at the same old price of ₹ 7.91 lakh to ₹ 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Coming to the car itself, the Sunny 2017 now adds new color option Sandstone Brown to the existing color range. You’ll observe new chrome door handles as a part of new changes to the exterior of the car. However, rest of the car remains same from the outside. The updated cabin in Nissan Sunny 2017 comes with an all-black interior with new black interior panels and premium black fabric seats.

Some other Nissan Sunny 2017 features are push button start and intelligent key. There are some enhanced safety offerings like electronic brake force distribution (EBD), anti-lock braking (ABS), and brake assist (BA) in all grades.

Under the hood, 1.5-litre HR15 petrol and 1.5-litre k9k dci diesel engines remained unchanged. Nissan Sunny 2017 continues to offer 1498cc petrol motor 98bhp and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, the 1461cc diesel engine makes 85bhp of peak power coupled to 5-speed manual gearbox. Nissan India also declared the launch of Nissan X-Trail Hybrid SUV in India to happen in early 2017.
