Nintendo Direct Mini has been released by the topmost video game company, Nintendo. There is also a big surprise for game lovers as Nintendo will soon release multiple games. Most of these games will get ported from Wii U. Eight brand-new games were announced. Out of these, three were released for Wii U, including, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors Ultimate Edition, and Pokken Tournament DX.
The new games have been added to the biggest catalog of ports, such as, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’, ‘Bayonetta 2’ (upcoming version), and ‘Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’. All these games come with the system that most of the people already possess i.e. Wii U. Prior to Nintendo Switch, a home console of Nintendo sold around 13.56 million units only in a period of five years. These least selling units made it the worst sale. When compared to this, GameCube sold 21.74 million units, which is considerably a big number in comparison to Nintendo’s sale. So, the performance of Wii U was not pretty well and that’s why numerous people didn’t play the games on their system.
In the earlier years, Nintendo had included some engaging content. Numerous people didn’t even get a chance to play some games such as Super Mario Maker. It had numerous low-quality levels and as a result its sales went steeply down. People started leaving these games and as a result the company also didn’t get a way to know what was working properly in the game and what was not.
On the other hand, Nintendo Switch has sold more than 10 million units and that too without completing the first year. This new system has got ravishing success. It would be good if the Switch library gets enhanced with more sequels of games that were launched earlier. It may take many months to develop new software; however, some updations can keep the customers happy.
