Nikon D850 DSLR

After its Global announcement, Nikon finally releases its new flagship in India named Nikon D850. The Nikon D850 DSLR camera launched in India with a price tag of Rs 254,950 only for the body. Nikon D850 is priced at Rs 299,950 along with AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR lens.

The camera will be available from 7th September marking the company’s 100th year of global presence. Managing Director for Nikon India, Kazuo Ninomiya said, “The Nikon D850 is a combination of remarkable advancements, and we are confident that this camera will transform the photography experience in India and across the globe. The Nikon D850 is the hero camera.”

Nikon D850 Features

The new Nikon D850 is more like mini D5 as it shares similar features and capabilities but in a smaller and more conventional body. Nikon D850 flaunts a rugged magnesium alloy body which is weather sealed, so it can stand firm in any environment. There are in-built Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for Nikon’s SnapBridge which lets you transfer pictures directly to your smartphone. The illumination button in the camera helps shooting in dark situations.

The major highlight of Nikon D850 is the full framed 45.7-megapixel CMOS sensor, extending its FX-format DSLR camera range. Nikon D850 uses EXPEED 5 image processor which provides 7fps burst shooting. The camera has an ISO sensitivity ranges from ISO 64 to 25600, which is expandable down to ISO 32 and up to ISO 102,400.

The DSLR provides a 153-point autofocus system with 99 cross sensors for continuous shooting. The Nikon D850 DSLR comes with 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD monitor with 2359k-dot resolution. Nikon D850 can shoot 4K video at 30fps or 1080p video at 120fps.

Other features of Nikon D850 includes an electronic shutter for live view mode for silent shooting, a choice of three sizes of RAW files, dual memory card slots for XQD and SD cards. HDMI output is present and inputs for headphone and microphone.

The company is also offering some exciting deals which include a complimentary AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G prime lens when you buy the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm lens or a 200-500mm lens with the body or kit, and a complimentary AF-S VR 70-300mm lens when you purchase the AF-S NIKKOR 24-70 f/2.8G ED lens with the body or kit. Customers will also receive a Jealiot Runner 0702 DSLR backpack and a 64GB UHS-1 SD card with every purchase of the Nikon D850.
