The Central Board of Secondary Education starts NEET 2017 Counselling today on July 3 for admissions into 470 Medical and 308 Dental Colleges. This academic year National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was held on May 7. Around, 611539 candidates qualified in the Entrance Exam.
The Admission process is under Ministry of Health, and Family Welfare has constituted a Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in. Check the NEET Medical Counselling Schedule that is from July 3 to August 16. Filling the choice of Medical & Dental courses for MBBS & BDS will be on the basis of Counselling. The Counselling will be held online at 15 per cent of the general category seats.
Candidates have to check the NEET 2017 Counselling Dates, where the registration, choice filling and indicative seat will begin on 3rd July 2017 and ends on July 11 up to 5 PM. The Choice filling and locking system complete on July 12. The First seat allotment is from July 13 and 14 and results of the first allotment will be out at mcc.nic.in on July 15.
After checking the allotment result candidates have to report the allotted medical and dental colleges from July 16 to July 22 upto 5 PM. Next, the second round will be from August 1 to 4 to fill their choice and new registration. The Second Seat Allotment will be from August 5 to 7 and results will announce on August 8. Aspirants have to submit allotment letter from August 9 to 16 along with documents.
A total of 65170 MBBS Seats in 470 Medical Colleges and 25730 BDS seats in Dental Colleges are available for those candidates who qualified in NEET 2017 Exam. Therefore, check the NEET 2017 Counselling Schedule and complete the registration as per the instructions.
