Narasimha Jayanti Pooja Vidhanam:
The devotees participate in fasting this day by taking a single meal before the auspicious day. They do the fasting very strictly without eating a single grain and break the fast the next day.
On an auspicious day, devotees perform Sankalp in the afternoon and Pooja in the evening before sunset. The Visarjan Puja will take place on the next day. They will end their fast only after sunrise and the Chaturdasi Tithi is over. If Chaturdasi prevails beyond three-fourth, then devotees break their fast in the first half of Dinamana(window between sunrise and sunset).
