Lenovo was all set for the launch of another new budget smartphone under brand Moto. The company has sent media invites for the Moto C Plus launch in India. The device was announced last month and is now going to be rolled out in few markets which include India. Moto C plus marks another addition to its C series with a smaller set of specs compared to Moto C launched recently.
Moto C and Moto C plus aims to targets entry-level smartphone buyers with most affordable prices. Also, Lenovo is building an anticipation about the launch with a series of tweets. “Yes, it’ll never let you run out of juice. Yes, it’s that charged!” the company tweeted. The smartphone was first launched in Europe with a starting price of EUR 119.
Discussing the specs, Moto C Plus features a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 1GB or 2GB of RAM. Moto C Plus comes with 16GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage with a microSD card. The handset measures 144×72.3x10mm in dimensions and weigh around 162 grams.
On camera font, Moto C Plus gets an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a LED flash. Another 2-megapixel front facing camera is provided to shoot selfies. The massive 4000mAh battery marks as one of the highlights of the device. The price of the moto c plus device is unpredictable at this moment. Yet, it roughly marks around Rs. 8,300 for 1GB RAM/16GB variant if we consider the price in Europe.
