Michelle Obama took time to highlight the Spotify playlist curated especially for Barack Obama. The playlist contained songs like “My one and only”, “Forever Mine”, “Stand by Me” by Ben E.King’s, “Primetime”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Love”, and other modern love tracks.
The 44 track playlist contains classics from Etta James, Diana Ross, Barry White, Miguel, and H.E.R.
In her Instagram Post, she tweeted, “Happy Valentine’s Day to my one and only @Barack Obama. To celebrate this Valentine’s Day occasion, I am dedicating a little Valentine’s day playlist to you!”
On the other hand, Barack Obama has dedicated a post on Instagram for his wife, showing the pair on a holiday trip. He also tweeted to Michelle Obama, “Happy Valentine’s Day @Michelle Obama. You make every place and every day better.”
On December 31st, 2017 Barack Obama shared his favourite songs of the year, which included hits like “Family Feud”, “Wild Thoughts”, “Millionaire”, and “Humble”. Barack Obama curated two separate playlists for 2016 summer for daytime and night time. His daytime playlist included “Sinnerman”, “U Got the Look”, and “II B.S” and the night playlist included “My Funny Valentine” by Miles Davis. It also has playlist of Fiona Apple’s “Criminal” and Esperenza Spalding’s “Espera”
