Meizu unveiled E-series smartphones last year with premium design and low price. Now, the company is planning to launch its successor in China. This new addition in the E-series might be named as Meizu E2 and may pack the same design as if its predecessor. It provides an mTouch home button and a fingerprint sensor below the display. Meizu E2 smartphone comes with a unibody metal design with a slightly curved rear.
Meizu E2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and comes with 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB RAM variants. Meizu E2 will provide 16GB, 32GB, 64GB storage variants and packs a microSD card slot. Reports say that the device may run on older Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme OS on top.
On camera department, the smartphone may get a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device measures 153.6 × 75.8 × 8.15 mm in dimensions and weighs around 175 grams. Meizu E2 smartphone gets a hybrid SIM slot and is backed by a 3,920mAh non-removable battery. The device comes in Silver, White and Blue color options.
