Chinese mobile giant LeEco launched a couple of devices as their upgraded variants of their latest smartphones Le 2, Le 2 Pro. Earlier, Le1S and Le 1S Eco have been initiated by the manufacturer as the improved variants of the Le 1. A buzz is that the company is going to launch Le 2S, another update to its latest smartphone series Le 2.This new smartphone has come up with the latest processor which stands unique when compared to other smartphones in this segment.

It is reported that manufacturer is going to launch mobile in two variants, a high-end variant might be powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor with 8GB of RAM. It is believed that this new processor offers a 10% better performance when compared to Snapdragon 820 provided currently in Le Max 2. This new 8GB RAM may not show much difference concerning usage as 6GB RAM, is more than enough for smartphones.

An increase in RAM alone couldn’t get a smoother usage, as the 1GB RAM in iPhone performs better than a 4GB ram in Android device. All it depends on the software optimisations. Leaked images resemble the front look of Le 2 devices and also reveal the bezel-less display of the phone. It is also observed that the device may skip 3.5mm audio port and come out with Type-C USB audio port backed by CDLA technology.

Though the things are yet to be confirmed officially about L 2S, LeEco is also planning to launch one more smartphone in Cool series. This is going to be the first smartphone after the acquisition of Coolpad by LeEco. Le 2S is all set for launch in China on 16 August, and the device is expected to get a release in India on 7 September.
