AIADMK leader and Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa is suffering from severe cardiac arrest on Sunday. She shifted back to ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. As per the Tweets, Apollo says that she is on extracorporeal membrane heart assist device. Dr. Richard Beale has consulted once again, and he concurred with the line of treatment.
As per the reports from the hospital sources, Puratchi Thalaivi was put on the life support system and mentioned that her condition was “stable.” Press release was issued by the Apollo Hospitals COO Subbiah Vishwanathan in the late evening says the Chief Minister “suffered a cardiac arrest this evening. She is being treated and monitored by a team of experts including cardiologists, pulmonologist, and the critical care specialists.”
She is on extracorporeal membrane heart assist device and is being treated by a team of expert doctors and critical care specialists.

Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra who is holding the additional charge of Tamil Nadu air-dashed to Chennai from Mumbai following the development. During the late night, he visited Apollo Hospitals. He spent about 10 minutes at the hospital taking stock of the situation.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Vidyasagar Rao on Sunday evening and enquired about the health of CM Jayalalithaa. She was admitted to the Apollo Hospitals on 22 September night with “low-grade fever and dehydration.” She has been under intensive treatment from the specialists and moved to a private ward on November 19.

During this several State Ministers, Chief Secretary, and top Bureaucrats rushed to the Hospital. TN Director General of Police T.K. Rajendran, who was in Madurai for the review meeting air-dashed to Chennai, postponing his scheduled trip. An Emergency meeting was called at the Police headquarters on Sunday.
