It’s time to rewrite the Periodic table with four new elements

Four New elements are included and time to re-write the Periodic table.

As announced the four periodic elements in January 2016, now these four elements officially claims the permanent position in the periodic table. The new elements are rounding in the seventh row of the periodic table. The positions of these new elements are 113, 115, 117 and 118.

So it’s time to rewrite the science textbooks with these new elements in the periodic table. The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, who looks after the periodic table has announces the four new elements on Wednesday.  These new four elements are 113, 115, 117 and 118 namely, nihonium, moscovium, tennessine and oganesson.

These latest four super heavy, radioactive elements are placed in the seventh row replacing the elements ununtrium, ununpentium, ununseptium and ununoctium. These elements are replaced with the new elements Nihonium, Moscovium, Tennessine and Oganesson.

In these four elements, Nihonium and Moscovium are post-transition elements. Tennessine comes under the halogens, and the Oganesson come under the noble gases.

Nihonium: Nihonium is the chemical element with the atomic number 113 which is replaced by the element ununtrium. This element is updated by The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) on June 8th 2016. The temporary symbol is Uut.

Moscovium: Moscovium is the chemical element with the atomic number 115 which is replaced by the element ununpentium. This element is updated by The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) on June 8th, 2016. The temporary symbol is Uup.

Tennessine: Tennessine is the chemical element with the atomic number 117 which is replaced by the element ununseptium. This element is updated by The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) on June 8th, 2016. The temporary symbol is Uus.

Oganesson: Oganesson is the chemical element with the atomic number 118 which is replaced by the element ununoctium. This element is updated by The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) on June 8th, 2016. The temporary symbol is Uuo.
