Instagram Stories Feature

Instagram new update brings a host of changes to its Stories feature. The feature has become popular with huge user base posting Stories regularly. The response of this feature has made Instagram unveil a new feature update, especially for Stories users.

Users can directly react to the stories while the Insta posts come with an ability to comment and leave replies to Stories. The latest Instagram 10.29 update has been rolled out to users and will be available for all in the next couple of days. Users can respond to the story directly by text or send an image/video using the camera icon which appears after the new update.

The new feature aims to increase conversations between users and provides new functionality to add stickers or emoji to the response. Essentially, it’s just like a story reply to another story, and the person will get a notification.

“Starting today, you can reply to stories with a photo or video. From selfies to Boomerangs, now you can be even more fun and playful when you respond to friends… Today’s update is just one of the ways we’re working to make direct the best place to have fun, visual conversations with friends on Instagram.” Instagram mentioned in its blog post.

The new Instagram stories feature rolled out for both Android and iOS users simultaneously. On the other hand, APK file is also available for users who do not wish to wait till the actual update is made available for their devices.

Recently, Instagram affected by a bug which deleted many of their user accounts. However, Instagram soon clarified that the accounts weren’t deleted, but a minor bug getting logged out of their accounts. As the 10.29 update was released after the discovery of the new bug, it is yet to know if the update resolves the issue.
