Hyperloop Andhra Pradesh: People of Andhra Pradesh Shall experience hassle free travelling in the upcoming days. A one hour travel is going to be completed in 5 minutes through Hyperloop project. According to the recent Memorandum of Understanding MOU made by AP Govt, Hyperloop is entering into Andhra Pradesh, First city in India to get this project. Hyperloop is going to connect the capital city of Andhra Pradesh Amaravati to its neighboring city Vijayawada.Public Private Partnership (PPP) model is funding the project.
Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT), is an American based company which is going to implement the project have signed the memorandum with Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB). Hyperloop transformation is considered as the fast travel source with speed 700MPH. There are possibilities that it can reach 1,100 km per hour speed depending on the pods.
Hyperloop is going to enter Andhra Pradesh, a new transportation system connecting all new capital Amravati and Vijayawada. The recent developments were taking place in Andhra Pradesh, and Hyperloop can be considered as an addition to those activities. Hyperloop is an ultra-high-speed ground transportation system, and the Hyperloop pods ride in a solar-powered, elevated air tube that for long distances in a lesser period.
Krishna Kishore, chief executive of APEDB, informed: “The project will involve little over $200 million of investment and take a year or so to complete it once all the approvals and Right of Way were in place.”
Bibop Gresta, chairman, and co-founder of HTT said in a statement “We are delighted to have entered into a MoU with the government of Andhra Pradesh to bring the HTT Hyperloop to India. In partnering with Andhra Pradesh, HTT will work with local stakeholders to build the regulatory standards necessary for safe and efficient operation.”
HTT is going to work with the Public, private partnership (PPP) and the said that it would take six months for the starting the project after completion of mapping and deciding the routes. They need to link up with the appropriate stakeholders for the further actions. After the basic ground for six months, HTT would start this work.
“By collaborating with Hyperloop, Amravati is embracing a prototype for the mobility of tomorrow,” said Krishna Kishore. This will result in the first Hyperloop in India. The company informed in its statement “Working with partners in the public and private sector, HTT will analyze the surrounding cityscapes to create the best route between the two cities while identifying all pertinent stakeholders in the region.”
Aviruk Chakraborty, advisor to APEDB “India is entering into a new era regarding technology, and our goal is to put India on the global map by developing and implementing green technologies, the first Hyperloop in Amravati.”
