For the first time, the Indian Institute of Information Technology IIIT Delhi came out to be the biggest recruiter placing more than 165 offers received from 86 companies. The designations of job profiles include software developer, business analyst, data scientists, design engineers, system engineers, business analyst and back-end and front-end developers.
This year the average pay of the students is around Rs 12 lakh per annum, and the maximum is up to Rs 35 lakh. The companies which took part in the recruitment are Google, Amazon, IBM, Sandisk, Qualcomm, Directi and Work Application.
IIIT Delhi director Pankaj Jalote said “Qualcomm visited IIIT Delhi for the first time and became the biggest recruiter of the year with a large 32 offers (14 intern offers and 18 full time offers). (IIIT) The Indian Institutes of Information Technology Delhi has concluded its placement process this year with more than 165 offers received from 86 companies.”
The interviews were carried out in two rounds; In the first round, 61 companies took part while in the second round more companies are joining to take part with “big4” consulting group.
“I would like to congratulate our students who made us proud by grabbing such offers. This is a moment of happiness, pride, an achievement for our placement team,” said IIIT Delhi director Pankaj Jalot.
