Huawei has announced the launch of next flagship smartphone from its sub-brand Honor Note 9. Now, the recent leaks on Chinese micro blogging website, Weibo detail more about the Honor Note 9 specs. It is anticipated that the smartphone will be launched in IFA 2017 event in September.
The recent leak suggests that Honor Note 9 features might include a larger 4,600 mAh battery. The device will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 965 chipset making its debut. The latest device from Honor will tout a 6GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt memory.
Honor Note 9 gets a dual-camera setup to compete with other new smartphones launched this year. A couple of 12 MP cameras were adjusted on the rear panel for capturing photos. As per the leak, Honor is gearing up to provide an edge-to-edge bezel-less display found in other flagships.
To recall, Honor Note 8 smartphone was launched in China last year in three storage variants- 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB models. It features a massive 6.6-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 955 processor. The chipset is coupled with a Mali-T880GPU and 4GB of RAM, and all the three variants have 128GB micro SD card slot.
Honor Note 8 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, and dual tone LED flash lights. A 8-megapixel wide-angle front facing snapper is assigned for selfies and video calling. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is backed by a 4500mAh battery.
