Honda City has got some prominent place in Indian sedan segment. Now, 2017 Honda City facelift made its way to India starting at Rs 8,49,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda has updated its City model after 3 years which the current generation launched back in 2014. The new 2017 Honda City facelift comes with a host of interesting updates in its design and features.

The Honda City facelift gets a whole new front-end with a new headlamp cluster that gets LED lamps on the top trims, new smarter grille and LED DRLs. The car has got a new front bumper with LED fog lamps studded in it. You also get a 7-inch touch screen audio-visual navigation system with Android-based interface. It comes with 1.5 GB of internal memory, 2 micro SD slots, and 2 USB slots. Other features include an electric sun-roof and rear view camera.

You can observe LED tail lamps and a LED strip on the spoiler on the rear side of the 2017 Honda City. Honda City facelift gets ABS with EBD, dual airbags, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats ensure a great safety. The top-end ZX variant sports six airbags along with curtain bags. Other features which include in this flagship grade are auto on-off headlamps, automatic headlamps and automatic rain sensing wipers.

The same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine will be found in the Honda City facelift without any change in the power or torque output. Just like in the earlier model, the petrol engine trim will get a CVT box with paddle shifts.

The fuel efficiency is slightly lower than the earlier model which you find 0.4 km pl less. On the other hand, the petrol CVT automatic variant continues to return 18 km pl.It is expected that the latest 2017 Honda City facelift may take on the current players in the segment.
