The exhaust pipes are positioning on the right side for the N.A model and are arranged in the center of the rear bumper for the European model.  Arriving as a 2017 model, the car will join the related Civic Coupe and Civic Sedan in local showrooms later this year.

Ever since the seventh generation model in the last decade, this is the first Honda Civic hatchback which will be offered in the United States. The company has already confirmed that it will make the car available in LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Sport Touring variants and offer a single engine at launch, although with two outputs.

The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine will deliver 174 horsepower and releases a torque of 162nm in LX, EX and EX-L models and 180 hp and 162 lb-ft in Sport and Sport Touring models.

The car is equipped with 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox which drives power to the front wheels. Honda is working on to add some more some sportier options in SI and Type R models.
