This model includes the turbocharged engine which is for the first time in a CR-V, in the form of Honda’s 1.5-liter and the in-line 4-cylinder which is rated at 190 horsepower.
The turbo engine will be available in all the variants of EX and higher trims, which is about 75% of the CR-V’s sales volume. Another variant LX trim has a 2.4L engine with 184 horsepower.
The interior of this fifth-gen CR-V is larger, and wheelbase is also longer. (Overall vehicle is two inches longer). This SUV is with more soft-touch materials throughout the car. Adding more features for the convenience, it includes a hands-free tailgate opener.
There is a 7-inch screen-based infotainment system available in the car for the quick access of navigation, music, calls, etc. It also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The physical Volume knob is back, and this is the great news for the users who are frustrated with the touch screen only control.
