Seeking a centralized system for all the notifications on the college admissions and job information, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in Delhi High Court. The plea requested to allow all the students access the online application process.

According to the PIL, if the student login into the centralized websites to upload their documents (academic or official) there won’t be any malpractices. The High Court announced the hearing on May 5, 2017.

The plea is to make two centralized websites for the ministries. One site to serve the listing of college entrance exams and other for the government job notifications and public sector jobs.

According to the PIL “It should be mandatory that all the universities/central and state government departments keep their admission notifications and recruitment details on their website. Every student must have their accounts on the site with Login ID and Password and have to upload their academic and other official certificates, photographs, scanned signatures and also the Aadhaar details.

As the students upload the scanned copies of their academic or official documents in the centralized websites, they can avoid any forgery or malpractice to occur.

The PIL also stated to have a career counseling facility on the websites. By adding this, there won’t be any rejections because of illegibility or spelling mistakes.The plea also claimed to have the students access the admit cards or call letters from the websites and to pay the financially needy students to apply for the government jobs.
