The government announced to fill the 10,000 Vacancies in KVS for this academic year in the country. The vacancies will be filled through the Kendriya Vidyalaya Recruitment process and select the eligible candidates for the Teacher posts.

“There are more than 10,000 Vacancies in KVS across the country. …We are going to fill up all the vacancies this academic year. In addition, action has also been initiated for filling up of another 4,473 posts through Limited Departmental Examination (LDE) with the recruiting,” HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar said in the Rajya Sabha.

The officials started the recruitment process to fill 6,206 vacant positions of Teacher posts of Kendriya Vidyalayas. The direct selection process has already initiated, and the written examinations conducted in the month of December 2016.

After completion of the recruitment process, selected candidates will be posted in various Kendriya Vidyalayas. According to the reports, the government announced to fill 10,000 Vacancies in KVS and is trying to establish more KVS in order to provide quality education in the country.

The cabinet committee approved 35 new Kendriya Vidyalayas, and it has also received the proposals for developing the two new KVS in Prakasam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The proposal of opening new Kendriya Vidyalayas are considered only if the central and state governments sponsored for setting up new schools.
