Google unveiled the first smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL after dropping the brand name Nexus. As reported earlier, Google considered India as one of the launch markets for the smartphone.
Google Pixel launch event held in San Francisco on Tuesday made the platform to unleash these new creations. Google Pixel XL price in India starts at Rs. 67,000 and pre-orders for the phone set to begin 13 October.
Almost all the information leaked ahead of the launch event, and as expected, Pixel XL comes equipped with the Google Assistant. The Google Pixel XL features a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display of 2560×1440 pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected screen.

A 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU powers the phone. The device is available in 2 internal storage variants of 32GB and 128GB with 4 gigs of RAM unit.
Google Pixel XL runs on Android 7.1 Nougat, comes with an imprint fingerprint sensor on the back. The handset sports a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, a large f/2.0 aperture, 1.55-micron pixels, and PDAF. Another 8MP front facing camera is provided with a Sony IMX179 sensor, 1.4-micron pixels, and a f/2.4 aperture.

Interestingly, Google Pixel XL smartphone comes with a 24×7 customer care feature to help to resolve real-time issues on the device. Google has provided a toll-free phone support alongside 54 service centers across 30 cities in India.
The gadget sported with three microphones and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions of the device measure 154.7 x 75.7 x 8.6 mm and weighs about 168 grams. Google Pixel XL pack a powerful battery of 3450mAh which would be a perfect sync with the specs sheet.

Google Pixel XL comes with good color options Very Silver, Quite Black, and limited edition Really Blue colors. The price for 32GB variants is Rs. 67,000 and Rs. 76,000 for 128 GB variant. Pixel XL smartphone from Google will be available on Flipkart, Croma and Reliance Digital, availability at smaller retailers will be rolled out later.
