Gionee smartphone bearing a model number GN5003 is spotted on websites a couple of months back. Now Gionee has officially launched the device in China with a name Gionee Big Magic (M6 mini). Gionee M6 Mini is another addition to the company’s M6 series next to Gionee M6 and M6 Plus launched back in July. M6 Mini possesses all new design when compared to M6 & M6 Plus.
M6 Mini Sports a metal built body with chamfered edges. The smartphone comes with Xiaomi MIUI 8 which supports ‘Dual Apps,’ means User can have two WeChat accounts. The 5.3-inch in-cell display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels will be provided. Under the hood, a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor which clocks at 1.5GHz is served along with Mali T860 GPU. M6 Mini packs a 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB additionally.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with customized Amigo 3.5 UI on the top. A 13 MP rear camera with PDAF is equipped on the rear panel, and a 5MP front camera is provided in the front for handling selfies. On connectivity font, the device offers an excellent range which includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The handset measures a thickness of 8.2 mm and weighs about 170 grams. Gionee Big Magic (M6 mini) houses a battery of 4000mAh battery which gives a standby up to 544.7 and talk time of 38.6 hours. Gionee has offered even bigger batteries in its recent releases like Gionee M6 & M6 plus.
Gionee Big Magic is presently available through online and offline stores only in China for 1499 Yuan. The company may soon roll out the device in India as the previous flagships like Gionee S6s, Gionee S6 Pro made a huge success in the country.
