Earlier, Samsung Galaxy rolled out OneUI 2.5 update to the Galaxy S20 series of smartphones. And now Samsung has also rolled out the same update in the models of Samsung Galaxy S10 series.

Not only in S20 but the new software made its debut with the Galaxy Z Flip and also Galaxy Tab S7 series. Galaxy S10 has now started receiving the One UI 2.5 update in Germany.

Given that Galaxy Note 20 series has officially gone on sale from today, we’re not sure if this was intentional. This was a great news to listen for all the Galaxy S 20 series fans along with Samsung fans as well. The wider rollout will also likely to follow other supported devices in the coming week.

The update is of 963.49MB that will carry G973FXXU8DTH7 firmware version. G975FXXU8DTH7 is the firmware version of Galaxy S10+ and G970FXXU8DTH7 is the firmware version of Galaxy S10e.

Checkthrough your phone’s setting for Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+ or Galaxy S10 users, by selecting the software update and thereby tapping download then Install.

Along with this update, there are some features that have been added upon it. Like the bitmoji stickers for the ‘Always On’ Display mode, the ability to send SOS location messages every 30 minutes for 24 hours, SOS message pre-configuration and also the split screen keyboard in the landscape mode.

The list will not end up here.There is more like performance improvements, bug fixes and security enhancement also as parts of the update.

In the camera app, the new update also comes with an enhanced Pro video mode, which is an easier and convenient way to share Wi-Fi credentials with all other Galaxy devices. Not only this one, you can now also search for YouTube videos in the keyword app.

The pro video mode will allow the users to select the video resolution along with the frame rate and mic selection. The single take duration selection is also featured in Galaxy S10 series.

The android security patch is also added in the new update, which brings along in September 2020. Wireless DeX which was debuted in Galaxy Tab S7 series as well as Galaxy Note 20, has now also been a part of the update of One UI 2.5.

The main objective of wireless DeX is that it lets you mirror your smartphone’s DeX UI screen wirelessly to any TV that features Miracast.
