Baahubali 2 First Day Box Office Collections

Finally: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Achieved Rs. 1500 Crores Mark

Maverick director S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has been creating sensations and setting new records at the box office. The film has already entered into the Rs. 1000 crore club and became the first Indian film to achieve this rare feat, as till now only Hollywood movies are members of this club. Now, the film has almost entered into Rs. 1500 crore club worldwide. It is the dream of every Indian Cinema, but Baahubali has achieved it in just three and half weeks.

Baahubali 2, has so far set many new records and break the records that were established by few classic films decade ago. As per the reports were given by the trade analysts, the film has collected Rs. 1,189 crore in India and Rs. 261 crore in overseas, with a total of Rs. 1,450 crores by yesterday. It is heard that the film has achieved this record so far and those values yet to be revealed by the makers.

One of the film critics and trade analysit, Ramesh Bala tweeted as, “At the Overseas Markets, #Baahubali2 has crossed US$40 Million [₹256.66 Crs]”

The film has already broken the records of superstar Rajinikanth’s Robo that was set in Tamil Nadu a couple of years ago with a share of Rs. 105 crores.

On global platform, the film has collected almost $ 20 million at the box office in North America.

Another film analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted as, “#Baahubali2 eyes $ 20 mn in NORTH AMERICA [till 14 May 2017]:

USA: $ 18,256,999

Canada: $ 742,534

Total: $ 18,999,533 [₹ 121.69 cr]@Rentrak”

The film was released in multiple languages on April 28th worldwide, and it features Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles. The film has also beaten the records set by biggest hits like Aamir Khan’s PK and Dangal’s records in Bollywood.

By the end of 16 days only, the film has collected, Nett Rs. 855 crores and Rs. 1090 Crores as gross. In overseas, it has received Rs. 240 crores as gross in overseas and a total of Rs. 1,330 crores worldwide. The film was released in over 6500 screens across India, and more than 9000 screens worldwide.
