Chinese handset maker Coolpad yet to launch another new smartphone. After the launch of Coolpad Note 5, the company’s latest has been spotted on Chinese certification agency, TENAA website. The phone was listed as Coolpad 8737 by the website and looks similar to Coolpad Mega 2.5D.  Recent launch Coolpad Note 5 of Rs. 10,999 marked great in the mid-range smartphone segment and it’s now the latest one’s to make debut.

Discussing the specs, Coolpad 8737 features a 5-inch HD Display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 294 ppi. The device is powered by a 1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU. 2 gigs of RAM is endowed with 16GB internal storage which can be expandable maximum up to 64GB.  The basic level smartphone device measures 142.5mm × 70.5mm × 8mm in dimensions and weighs about 145 grams.

On camera department, the website reports 8 MP primary sensor and 5 MP front-facing sensor for selfies. Other connectivity options may include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The device is backed by a 2500 mAh battery which is mediocre for the specs sheet.

It seems Coolpad 8737 is a mid-range offering in Gold color from the maker for regular usage. However, official confirmation from Coolpad is yet to be released followed by price.
