Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative stamp of Sri Ramanujacharya on the Monday in Delhi on the occasion of the 1000th birthday celebrations of the legend. Modi presented the stamp to Governor Narasimhan. He stated that Sant Shri Ramanujacharya life story is a message for the society and Ramanujacharya always used to say about the manifestation of God in Human beings and vice versa. He claimed that all devotees are equal before God. He appreciated Ramanujacharya doings of joining people from various areas as temple members. The event was conducted at the 7th residential home of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and ministers such as Venkaiah Naidu, Ananth Kumar, Nirmala Seetharaman and Narasimhan, the joint governor of Telugu states, Tridandi Chinajeyer Swamy marked their presence.
Modi added that the so many social movements took births in the 1000 years of his inspiring thoughts of Ramanujacharya. He claimed that his thoughts and ideas are the pillars which strengthen our society. Modi stated that the maps of the countries have changed, larger countries disappeared, but India is still moving forward in the light of the Ramanujacharya’s Mantra “Sabka Sath-Sabka Vishwas.” On the occasion of Ramanujacharya birthday, Modi took Twitter to pay his respects towards him and quoted that Indian Saints have the invaluable contribution in the positive impact and influence on the society.
