Kochi: Institute of Communication, Kerala is about to start a Certificate Course in Video Editing. It is a 6 month long course, and the Institute is an autonomous one under Kerala Media Academy recognized by Government of Kerala.
The course intake will be a total 30 students divided into two batches, and each has a separate theory as well as the practical sessions. The course will teach the candidates about the most trending modern software in video editing. The basic rule of a candidate is that they should at least have intermediate degree and age should be below 30. The age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for all the SC/ST candidates.
The course fee is Rs. 24050/- which also includes the examination fee. Tuition Fee is Rs. 20000/-. The candidates must also pay a Caution Deposit of Rs. 3500/- which will be refunded after the course completion. Admission Fee is Rs.300/- and Library fee is Rs. 250. To sum up, the total fee will be Rs. 24050/-. only SC/ST candidates are applicable for concessions.
Interested candidates can send their application attested to a demand draft of Rs. 300 to The Secretary, Kerala Media Academy, Kakkanad. SC/ST applicants have to draw a DD of Rs. 150. Along with application and DD, they have to provide the original certificates, and self-attested copies of Qualified exam marks list, SSLC certificate as a proof of Date of birth. The candidates have to send them to ‘The Secretary, Kerala Media Academy, Kakkanad, Kochi-682030’ by 24th April 2017.
The students must behave properly in the Institute and follow the rules. Students have to bear all their expenses of stationery, tapes, travelling, lodging and boarding, study tours, etc. If a candidate wants to quit the training, they must give an application beforehand, and the refund will be provided.
