Finally, Bachelor Nation made it to the finale. But, it was nothing like we expected. The audience who has been religiously following this episode for months now will undoubtedly agree that the reality show seemed too good to be true, owing to a lot of twists and turns that introduced by Arie Luyendyk Jr. himself.
On Monday’s three-hour final episode, Arie, 36 had to choose between Becca Kufrin, 27 and Lauren Burnham, 26. He proclaimed to be in love with both the women and had a hard time choosing the one for him. His family came to support him and met both the girls. Lauren seemed to be a shy girl at first, but opened up after spending quality time with the family. Becca was a lively woman and easily mingled with the family. Finally, after interacting with both women, they found Becca to be the perfect partner for Arie.
Before making the final decision, Arie went on a last date with both the women and was seen professing love to both of them. After the date, both Lauren and Becca felt that they would be the chosen one. Arie bid goodbye to Lauren at last and chose Becca over Lauren. Lauren was dumbfounded at his decision and was found crying over Arie’s betrayal. Although shaken by the breakup with Lauren, he still went ahead and proposed to Becca with a ring and went down on one knee to offer marriage proposal. Becca gladly accepted the proposal and they started taking romantic pledges for future.
The drama didn’t end there. Arie broke up with Becca couple of days later revealing that he still loved Lauren.
Is he fickle-minded or has he been using both the women since the beginning? Both the girls suffered a major heartbreak due to the indecisiveness of Arie. Now, the audience is eagerly awaiting Tuesday’s episode to see the final results. Will Lauren accept Arie again? Stay tuned for further updates.
