Baahubali team planned to organize the grand premiere event of the movie in Mumbai. All the film fraternity celebrities are expected to attend this event. But unfortunately as Vinod Khanna, Veteran Bollywood Actor died today morning, to mark their respects, the team canceled the premiere event. Karan Johar who bought the distribution and marketing rights of Baahubali in Bollywood under Dharma Productions himself posted the news on his official Twitter Account.

Baahubali series started as a normal Telugu film with the big budget. Thanks to Karan Johar, the movie made its way into the largest Indian Movie Industry Bollywood. Later the film became popular internationally and broke so many records becoming the benchmark for Indian cinemas. As Baahubali: The Conclusion is its sequel, the expectations are sky high. The movie team actively indulged in the post production and promotion works of the motion picture. On this note, they planned a gala night of the film premiere on 27th April in Mumbai and invited all the celebrities.

However, on receiving the news of their beloved and honorable actor Vinod Khanna’s death, they canceled the event. Karan Johar took his Twitter and tweeted about the sad news of Vinod’s death. Seconds later he announced that as a mark of respect they are canceling the premiere night of Baahubali 2.

Rajamouli in this joint statement officially declared that they are devastated by hearing the news of Vinod’s demise which shook them and claimed that the movie premiere event is now canceled.

Legendary Actor Vinod Khanna who is battling cancer was admitted to hospital due to severe dehydration on March 31st. As his condition worsened, he breathed his last today on 27th April in the morning. The entire Bollywood got deeply saddened by this news.
