Audi A3 Cabriolet Facelift

Audi has launched 2017 A3 Cabriolet facelift in India which is one of the most affordable convertibles. The A3 Cabriolet gets a range of upgrades on the latest model following the A3 sedan facelift launched last year. New Audi 2017 A3 Cabriolet price in India starts at 47.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

All new Audi A3 Cabriolet 2017 models get few minor revisions on design end aligning new generation A4. On the front, you observe revised headlamps with running LED lights even in daytime. Another change is the new bumper and new single frame grille in place. Coming to the rear side, A3 Cabriolet gets a revised bumper and new LED tail lamps.

A new electrically retractable 7-inch MMI interface display screen is provided Inside, the new A3 Cabriolet facelift. Another change you see in the luxury car is the three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel.

New Milano leather upholstery is another feature which impresses you. Bang & Olufsen audio system will be among the list of features which A3 Cabriolet equips. The convertible comes with optional smartphone interface, five airbags, ABS with EBD, and Audi Parking system plus as well.

The soft top on the A3 Cabriolet facelift insulates the cabin well and ensures no exterior sounds. And it can open or retract the hydraulic drive at speeds up to 50 kmph. Coming to the engine, Audi A3 Cabriolet drives power from the new 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine.

The turbocharged motor produces 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque, and it is paired to a 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission. The engine comes with COD technology which shuts off cylinders when at low speeds.

This, in turn, results in fuel economy and lower emissions. Audi India claims that the new A3 Cabriolet produces fuel efficiency of 19.20 kmpl. Surprisingly, Audi India has launched the A3 Cabriolet facelift first to the market. However, the A3 sedan will be the most affordable to own in the country.

“We can expect the model to arrive in the following months. Unlike the new Cabriolet that continues to be imported as a fully built unit, the A3 sedan facelift will be locally assembled in India,” says Audi spokesperson.
