Assam Government confessed to appoint nearly 16000 Teacher by 2018 with Centre relaxing norms for Teacher Jobs. The Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that,” We have 19,709 people who have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Examination. From that, approximately 80 percent will be recruited by 2018.
Teacher Recruitment in Assam Latest News has declared by Assam Government. He said that Centre had relaxed the norms only for Assam regarding Diploma in Elementary Education and Bachelor in Education Qualification for appointing Assam Teacher Jobs 2018.
“As of Now, we have 14331 vacancies. During the present fiscal, another 2000-3000 new jobs may come soon,” said by Sarma.
After appointing these teachers annually, they required Rs.600 crore. Total 88571 candidates passed TET in the six rounds of exam across Assam and from that 68800 have already been appointed. The Assamese Language is mandatory, and Sarma said a notification might release very soon to make the subject till Class X.
Finally, he said, “Those who are not interested in these subjects will have a choice to choose between Bodo or Bengali languages. Bodo is for tribal areas and Bengali for Barak Valley.
