Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) came into existence on 1st Nov 1956 with the formation of Andhra Pradesh State. The primary functions are Direct Recruitment, Recruitment by transfer, Statutory rules relating to service, Disciplinary cases, etc. It releases Group I, II, III & IV Notifications every year as per the requirement.

According to this information, now they have published APPSC Group 2 Mains 2017 Exam Dates that will conduct on 20th May (FN & AN) and 21st May (FN) for 982 Executive & Non-Executive Posts. Applicants are supposed to check more details from official web portal at psc.ap.gov.in.
Well coming to the important point of APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam Pattern, it consists of three papers. Paper I consists of General Studies & Mental Ability for 150 marks with 150 mins time duration. Paper 2 is of two types (i) Social & Cultural History of AP (History of Social & Cultural Movements in AP) and (ii) General Overview of the India Constitution for 150 Marks. Finally, Paper 3 consists planning in India, Indian Economy same for 150 marks with 150 mins duration.
The Mains exam is Computer Based Test (CBT) and will conduct on 20th & 21st May 2017. So, it is compulsory to check APPSC Group 2 Mains 2017 Exam Dates. The total exam is for 450 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH Category is at 135 and for BC & Other Categories 157.5 Marks.
