Amazon India Seasonal Jobs:world’s largest e-commerce company, Amazon India announced 22,000 seasonal jobs across the country during the upcoming festive season. The seasonal employment positions across India will provide an endless shopping experience to customers by enhancing the teams to expand delivery network for the festive season.
Amazon India said the job positions have been created to fulfillment centres, sortation centres, delivery stations and customer service sites. The jobs are set up in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and many other cities across the country, said in a statement.
Akhil Saxena, Vice President India Customer Fulfilment, Amazon India, “The over 22,000 seasonal associates will help in augmenting our capabilities to serve our customers better and enable us to deliver consistently high levels of customer experience.”
The Amazon staff who have been given employment especially for the festive season will join thousands of associates at Amazon’s 41 fulfillment centres, 15 sortation centres and around 150 delivery stations across India to help in picking, packing, shipping and delivering customers’ orders more efficiently.

The e-commerce giant has 13 customer service sites across 12 cities and provides voice support for clients in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, and Kannada. These customer services serve Amazon customers through the various medium like email, chat, social media, and mobile.
With the start of the festive season, Amazon India expands its delivery network in different parts of India, including Leh-Ladakh, Lakshadweep along with East and North-East India. With this expansion, Amazon has 350 Service Partner nodes over 320 cities, a 40% increase from 250 Service Partner nodes that were set up for Diwali last year.
