Bharati Airtel has finally made its move to provide unlimited data for postpaid users. The telecom as announced Airtel Data Roll Over Promise which offers an exhaust-free data per month to subscribers. Essentially, this program allows Airtel postpaid customers to carry forward the unused data in a month to the next month’s billing cycle.
This Airtel Data Roll Over Promise starts from August 1, and a customer can carry forward up to 200GB of data to next month.
“This new-to-the-world innovation will ensure zero data wastage for customers and brings unmatched value to the Airtel Postpaid proposition,” Airtel said. Customers can track their data on the MyAirtel app.
At a press conference on Monday, Airtel has unveiled the improvements to its website, app, and in-store experience. Airtel Data Roll Over Promise will help postpaid customers to create multiple customized solutions for different family members through MyAirtel app. Airtel claims that adding users on a family plan will able to share benefits among themselves and enables savings of up to 20 percent. Also, the telecom hinted that it makes make it easier for customers on prepaid plans to switch to postpaid cycle. Further info about the same is yet to revealed by the company.
Airtel said that it is revamping its website and app to add more features. The MyAirtel app will now provide real-time notifications and the ability for customers to place a request for different services and ask for help. The company is also publicizing its expansion to its Airtel Secure security suite by pairing with Norton Mobile Security.
Bharati Airtel announced its plan to invest up to Rs 2,000 crores in Project Next. Hopefully, that Project Next will help it become a “truly digital service provider.”
