According to the survey conducted by Ipsos Top cities Index 2017 edition, says Abu Dhabi trumps Mumbai, Singapore and Delhi. Indians love to live in London followed by Paris, Sydney, New York, Zurich and Los Angeles. In this survey people around 26 countries worldwide were asked to choose a place across 60 Global cities, they feel best to live in, visit and do business in. Ipsos Cities Index was created by taking al the scores in to consideration.
Based on reports, Delhi ranks 40th position while Mumbai in 41th position out of 60 cities. Due to abundant career opportunities, entertainment options and quality, Indians love to stay in either cities i.e. Delhi and Mumbai, says Amit Adarlar, CEO Ipsos India.
“Globally we see the power of the New York brand with its appeal to people across the world, young and old. But the rise of Abu Dhabi and the weakness of Sydney among younger people remind us that no city can afford to rest on its laurels,” he said.
According to the survey Ipsos first conducted in 2013, New York was the most popular city worldwide. New York retains its place as the leading city in this year’s index. The results of the survey 2017 says, New York is the best place to do business with 23% , Abu Dhabi ranks second with 21%, followed by London and Hong Kong at 16% and Tokyo 15%. Paris falls outside the top ten with 7%, thinking it is good for commerce.
The best place to visit: Paris stands the best city to visit with 21%, Rome ranks second with 20% vote’s beatings New York which scored 16% this year. Top destination to live in: Zurich is top in the list ahead of Sydney on 17%. Abu Dhabi goes to seventh to third over same time bound. Karachi, Nairobi and Tehran ranked least favorable cities to live in the survey.
