On Tuesday in Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a decision was taken to scrap all interviews for recruitment of class 2, class 3 and class 4 jobs. The recruitment will purely base on written test marks. From now onward UP government will not conduct any interviews for class 2 (non-gazette), class 3 (clerical) and class 4 (peon, etc.). The decision was taken to increase demand for government jobs.

The decision was taken after state government recommending CBI inquiry into appointments made by UPPSC Uttar Pradesh Service Commission in last five years.

Minister Siddharthnath Singh while explaining media persons about cabinet decisions said “The decision to scrap interviews for class 2, 3 and 4 posts will ensure transparency and check corruption in recruitments,”

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the scrapping of interviews in group 2, 3 and 4 posts of union government on December 29, 2015. The promise to scrap interviews was included in the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra-2017’,” he said.

The SP government received nearly 23lakh applications including 250 from Ph.D. holders for about 360 posts for peon in secretariat in 2015. BJP raised an issue in 2017 assembly elections regarding unemployment and irregularities.

There are chances of favoritism and corruption in interviews. In written examination, this can be checked through a system of coding. Government jobs are high in demand in UP due to unemployment,” said retired head political science department, Luck now University, SK Dwivedi. He concluded saying. “This (favoritism) has been the reason why high-qualified candidates had been applying for the job of a peon,”

To avoid education mafia Adityanath– led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh had decided to slap one lakh fine from unrecognized schools. Uttar Pradesh CM also made mandatory for all schools to keep CCTVs and biometric machines for attendance purpose. This help to find recognition from the UP board.

New rules are introduced in the education sector to develop the qualitative growth of education. Many illegal schools are running in Uttar Pradesh as well as in many states. So holder of the schools should be ready to make the school certificated by the state government or be willing to pay the penalty of Rs 1 lakh to the government.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma who holds the education portfolio announced UP board would recognize the schools which install CCTVs and biometric machine for attendance.

The minister also said to make the system digital. “UP board will give recognition to schools and colleges after verifying is their CCTVs and biometric machines installed.” The minister had already initiated a group in each district they will visit each school and verify and submit the report to UP board. It is implemented to avoid mafia and corruption over education in the state.

Many schools are running illegally without getting certificated by the state government. So the government had decided to impose a penalty of 1 Lakh to all those schools. State schools which are running by local authorities or following Right to free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 are exempted from these rules.

The order says “As per the order, the government will have right to take away the recognition of any school that disobeys the provisions of the RTE Act.” “Recognition of such schools will be terminated without seeking any explanation,” the order states

Anti-Land Mafia Portal: To curb the risk of land Mafia in Utter Pradesh, the state government on Saturday launched an Anti-land Mafia portal. A report said people could file or update their complaints on the website portal against any illegal occupying of lands belonging to government and private institutions sectors.

State Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma” said, “the Anti-Land Mafia Portal not only helped to mark 1, 53,808 encroachers but it also helped to free 6,794 hectares of land.” He also said that due to this portal nearly 1,035 land mafias are marked out of them 42 are under Gangster Act and 70 under the criminal offense.

The setting of this portal is done in April by State government to prevent illegal land grabbing. This decision has taken in the meeting of state cabinet ministers, which was chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath.

Every House Plan Must Include a Rainwater Harvesting System: Yogi Adityanath

LUCKNOW: The provision of rainwater harvesting facility in the house is made mandatory for Every house in UP. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went through the presentations of Urban Development Department regarding the house plans till late night and declared that the house plan would be accepted only if it has a rainwater harvesting facility mentioned in it.

CM Yogi has directed the officials to make the rainwater harvesting facility mandatory in the map. He said that this plan is necessary for the state to prevent the shortage of drinking water and the only way to save water for the future generations is to implement this remedial measure of building the rainwater harvesting service.

A welcome move by the newly elected Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh. This Rule should be adopted by all states for the sake of future generation.
