Vodafone Red Postpaid Plans: 3G/4G data, Unlimited Local & STD Calls for Postpaid Customers

Telecom operator Vodafone Red has unveiled the Vodafone Red plans with unlimited calls and data benefits for postpaid customers. To combat with the rising Reliance Jio, Vodafone Red had introduced four new plans in the recent past. And right now it comes with the two new plans.

The new Vodafone Red Postpaid plan includes Rs. 1,699 and Rs. 1,999. Customers can expect the unlimited calls on the home network including roaming which means free outgoing calls on roaming in Rs. 1,699 Red Postpaid plan. 100 text messages and 20GB of bundled 4G/3G date for 4G smartphone user in Rs. 1,699 plan. The Rs. 1,999 Vodafone Red Postpaid plan offers all the above-mentioned offers but with 24GB of bundled 4G/3G for a 4G smartphone user.

Vodafone Red offers 3G/4G data and unlimited STD and local calls for postpaid customers’ starts at Rs 499 across all networks. The number two telecom operator latest offers consists of 3GB data for 4G users, 1GB for non-4G data, 100 free text messages, free incoming on national roaming and unlimited STD and Local voice calls for Rs. 499.

Vodafone offers 5GB non-4G data and 8GB 4G data with free calling, free 100 text messages and free incoming national roaming for Rs. 999.

Sandeep Kataria, the Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India, said “Postpaid customers have higher usage of data and roaming. With the new Vodafone RED, our postpaid customers can enjoy an all-in-one plan that addresses their data, roaming and calling needs comprehensively,”

Vodafone revamping Vodafone RED Postpaid plans

The New offers have been added to Rs. 499, Rs. 699, Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,299 plans which launched earlier. Vodafone offers unlimited local and national calls and 100 text messages to all the above plans. The telco offers 3GB of 3G/4G data for 4G handphone users for Vodafone Red Rs. 499 postpaid plan and 3G/4G data to 5GB for 4G smartphone users for Rs. 699 Vodafone Red postpaid plan.

These plans are currently not available in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, Bihar & Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh circles.

Reliance Jio Effect: Vodafone now offering 4GB 4G Data at Rs 250 for Prepaid Subscribers

Vodafone has announced the details of increasing the 4G data benefits by four times for the existing prepaid users in all circles. These upgraded plans are applicable in all the circles where the 4G services are available.

The entry of Reliance Jio has changed the phase in the telecom industry, and telecom operators started offering the new plans and tariffs for not losing their customer base from their home network. With this move, now Vodafone has started offering the existing 4G data services with extra data.

BSNL to Relaunch Rs 498 Truly unlimited 3G plan

Now the company is offering the data pack tariffs as follows Rs. 150 will offer 1GB of Data for a month, Rs. 250 will offer 4GB data and Rs. 1,500 data will offer 35GB of data in a month.

According to the company, the new and updated prices for the new data packs might vary from the circle. Vodafone has mentioned that the 4X data packs can be purchased through the digital channels and all other retail points. The new data benefits can be enjoyed all the day, regardless of the restrictions proposed in the plans earlier.

To get an idea on the price and for differentiation between the old and new data packs for the prepaid subscribers, the company has come up with one method. The users who have bought the 1GB and 10 GB 4G data packs earlier are now able to buy 4GB and 22GB data tariffs at the similar rates respectively.

On this occasion of the launch, Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India says, “Our customers are consuming more of content and video online. He also mentioned that this would encourage the first time and limited users of the mobile internet for exploring more by providing the more value. Now the users can access the content four times more while browsing their favourite content in the online with the same cost.

Vodafone Launches Unlimited Voice & Data Combo Packs

Vodafone, one of the India’s largest telecommunications service providers, has announced the unlimited free voice calling to the prepaid customers by launching the two new packs. The company has commenced this plan for 2G, 3G and 4G subscribers and the pack price may vary by the circle.

Similar to Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular, the Vodafone India has also come up with this new plan in counter to Reliance Jio unlimited free calling offer. The new Vodafone unlimited free voice calling pack are priced starting from Rs 144 and Rs 344 and also includes data benefits.

Vodafone Offers Double 4G Data for Plans over Rs 255

In Rs 144 to Rs 149 pack price, the customers can avail the benefits like unlimited local and STD calls across the country for only Vodafone network. In addition to this, users can avail 50MB data and 300MB data for 4G handsets which come with a validity of 28 days.

The company has furnished the benefits in the Rs 344 to Rs 349 pack price are, unlimited local and STD calls to any network and landline calls throughout the country. Along with this, customers can avail 50MB of data and 1GB data for the 4G handset users. This pack also scheduled upto 28 days of validity.

Airtel and Vodafone launches e-KYC verification using Aadhaar

After being slapped with huge penalties by TRAI for violating customer verification norms, the telecom companies have taken the KYC formalities seriously.Recently a notification was released by DoT( Department of Telecommunication) for rolling out instant Aadhaar based e-KYC (Know Your Customer) verification for mobile connections.

Following this notification, major telecom companies like Airtel and Vodafone have launched e- KYC services at their stores to help their customers to activate new SIMs instantly with Aadhaar number verification.

Airtel has launched e-KYC service at Delhi NCR, while Vodafone is planning to introduce the facility across India from August 24.

Aadhaar Based e-KYC Verification for instant  SIM card approval

“Customers walking in for a new connection at our stores will walk out talking in just a few minutes. We had partnered with the Department of Telecom (DoT) to pilot the Aadhaar based e-KYC solution and tested it successfully in two circles,” Vodafone India Director Sandeep Kataria said.

Effective Wednesday, August 24, we are rolling it out across the country,” he added.Airtel spokesperson said the facility launched currently at National capital region will be available at all company-operated stores in few days.

Customers preferring verification using e-KYC need to mention their Aadhar number and provide their finger print. This will be enough to activate either pre-paid or post-paid SIM cards.

Vodafone Red’s entry level subscription plans at Rs.499, 699 and 999 offers double data benefits with an attractive talk-time and 500 SMS for free. Whereas the top-end plans like 1699 and 1999 provide unlimited calls, free roaming, 500 SMS and 6GB and 8GB of data respectively.

However, Vodafone and Airtel may take almost equal share in attracting customers, as the offering is almost similar. Bharati Airtel offers 1GB 3G/4G data with unlimited calls for Rs.1199, while Vodafone committed to offering 1GB data with 700 minutes of voice calls for Rs.499.
