The world’s largest online retailer ‘Amazon’ has recently launched its Prime service to its members in India. The company also announced the launch of Prime Video service in the month of July 2016. Ahead of its launch, it recently announced the news about the upcoming launch of Prime Video.
The e-commerce giant ‘Amazon’ has signed a deal with Karan Johar “Dharma Productions” to stream existing and future films in the concept of Prime Video service.
“We are excited to have Dharma Productions’ library and future slate of titles for the upcoming launch of Prime Video,” the Amazon Video India Director and Country Head Nitesh Kripalani said in a statement.

The Amazon Prime Video will be the subscription for upcoming and existing blockbusters from Dharma Productions. The digital premier for upcoming Dharma releases on Prime Video includes ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachan and Anushka Sharma), ‘Ok Jaanu’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’.
It also includes blockbuster movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Student of the Year, Kapoor & Sons, Brothers, Gore Tere Pyar Mein, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Agneepath.
With this deal, Prime members have access to streaming of unlimited movies as a part of their Prime membership. The Amazon Prime Video Service is going to be launch in the upcoming months and let users to access TV shows from India and global content providers along with streaming of movies.
