DataWind launches smartphone at Rs 1499 with one year free Browsing Internet

Datawind is very well known for its low-cost internet connectivity and wireless web access products. With its main aim of affordability, the company launched another smartphone ‘Pocketsurfer GZ’ for just Rs.1499.

The smartphone comes with a package of free internet browsing for one year. New Pocketsurfer GZ is the new addition to its product portfolio. The smartphone runs on Linux operating system and provides features like touchscreen and rear camera.

Datawind grabbed all the attention globally, with their disruptive innovation in Ubislate tablets. The manufacturer has the intentions to achieve the same in smartphone division.

“We are focused on driving the cost downward to a level where access to technology becomes universally affordable, and democratisation of technology finds its true meaning. Therefore, this new launch of a smartphone at just Rs. 1499 is a step in that direction.

Smartphone and internet usage has observed a hike of 17% in the last couple of years which is still lagging behind in many other developing nations. The company believed that the digital and internet divide could be addressed through technology intervention by offering a device at an affordable price.

Two New Budget Smartphones from Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3s Prime Launched in India

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer company Xiaomi lands their latest budget smartphone in India. Xiaomi Redmi has launched two variants called Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime.  This is the new budget smartphone from Xiaomi.

Redmi 3S comes with the 5-inch HD IPS display (1280 x 720 pixels) with the metal body. Xiaomi,  the cheapest smartphones with fingerprint recognition which helps in ultra-fast unlocking. Redmi 3S comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The Smartphone is priced at Rs.6999.

Redmi 3S comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. This phone is priced at Rs.8999. Redmi 3S and 3S Prime comes with 4G Dual SIM and even support VoLTE. The primary camera is with 13MP with PDAF camera technology and the front facing camera with the 5MP.

The phone is included with the Octa-core processor along with Snapdragon 430. The two phones Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are available in three different colour variants Dark Grey, Silver and Gold. These new Xiaomi smartphones can be found on the Mi official website and also in leading e-commerce site Flipkart in India.

The sale will go live on August 9, 2023, and the users do not need any invitations or registrations in advance for purchasing the handset.

Flipkart partnered with OLA to reach its customers which are available in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune. Lenovo Vibe K5 Note Official Release is going to happen today.

The Chinese multi-technology company launched in China in January and is all set to release in India Today. OLA, an app-based service is offering customers to experience Vibe K5 Note and ANT VR headset at customers’ doorstep.

SpiceJet Launched “Smart Check – In” Counter in Hyderabad Airport to Clear the Queue

Budget Airway Carrier SpiceJet has launched Smart Check – In the facility that sends boarding passes to the user’s app. SpiceJet Smart Check In launched by Minister for Civil Aviation Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju and SpiceJet Managing Director Ajay Singh at RGIA (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport), Hyderabad.

The feature Smart Check – In counter facility will soon expand in all other Airports’ which benefits mutually to clear the queue and reduce the check in counters. The Smart Check-in the facility is available to all SpiceJet customers who book their tickets through a mobile app. It is like a mobile check-in service.
