In the recent Windows 10 event hosted by Microsoft in New York holds many announcements. The company has made an announced upgrade version for the Surface Book. This new model is the equipped with the Intel Core i7 processor. Check out the highlights, features and other details about Microsoft Surface Book. Is it going to be the rival for the MacBook Pro?

Microsoft claims that this Surface Book will offer 30% more battery life. The company is claiming that their updated laptop gives about 16 hours of battery life.  In comparison with the original model which runs up to 12 hours on a single charge.

Microsoft’s New All-in-One Surface Studio PC Unveiled at New York

This new Microsoft’s Surface Book is now offering the Intel Core i7 chip and twice the graphics performance from the previous Surface Book variant. When compared with the top end Apple MacBook Pro, this is three times better regarding the processor performance.

Panos Panay, the Head of the Engineering Department mentioned that “these machines were designed for the game lovers and who and in need for the more frame rate and the designers who want less lag.” Apart from this, it also satisfies who are looking for efficient and more battery life.

The high-end model in the Surface Book can give the 1.9 teraflops of performance, and now this model is equipped with the secondary fan. The design of the model remains unchanged.

You can use this Surface Book in three different modes, Laptop Mode, Clipboard Mode and Draw Mode.

The New laptop from Microsoft arrives in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants with the respective prices $2,399, $2,799, and $3,299.

Microsoft unveiled the latest addition to its new hardware lineup. Microsoft’s Surface Studio unveiled at a launch event in New York City. Combining an elegant design, a massive and lovely display along with an eye-popping price tag, the company has made the first-ever desktop.

Microsoft claims the all-in-one PC with a 28-inch PixelSense display and 3:2 display ratio, to be the thinnest display ever built.

Microsoft Surface Studio PC is powered by an Intel Core processor and a NVIDIA GPU. The latest desktop from Microsoft is provided with `a unique hinge on the back which makes the computer more flexible for creative pursuits.

The Touch screen computer from Microsoft sports a 2TB hybrid drive which combines HD and SD storage. Other connectivity options include Ethernet, four USB 3.0 ports, Audio, SD and Mini DisplayPort and the new radial input Surface Dial with haptic feedback.

The ports, speakers, and drive are positioned in the base under the display. Surface Studio’s display includes 13.5 million pixels at 192 PPI density which don’t reveal individual pixels in any case. The display outputs 13.5 million pixels, which is 63 percent more than a 4K television. Microsoft Surface Studio PC includes a TrueColor feature which renders the world.

Another True Scale feature in the Surface Studio allows the display to print products at real scale on the screen. Which means, One inch on the screen is one inch in real life.

“We totally believe that Surface changes the way you produce, the way you create, the way you learn, the product I’m going to show you is all of that — but it’s one step further. It’s going to seem familiar, but it’s going to feel different,” said Panos Panay, Microsoft’s devices team lead.

Panay also introduced and demonstrated the Surface Dial onstage and explained about the different products in the lineup. Surface Dial has built-in global controls, which mean they work throughout Windows at the system level. Surface Dial also collaborates with the other products Surface Book, Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 for off-screen functions.

Pre-orders for the Surface Studio is available now and will be arriving for hands-on demos at Microsoft Stores starting October 27. With a starting price of $2,999, Microsoft Surface Studio PC is going to ship in limited numbers by this holiday season in the US. As if now, we don’t have any updates for its launch in India.

On a day of unspeakable horror for New York and the entire nation, terrorists crashed the World Trade Center and Pentagon. The 9/11 attacks mark the deadliest assault on the US in its history. Thousands of lives are suddenly ended by the evil, despicable acts of terror.

The twin towers of the World Trade Center were more than just buildings. The World Trade Center was formulated in the early 1960s by the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Development Association.

Fifteen years ago, 19 men were trained by Al-Qaeda carried out a coordinated terrorist attack on the United States. The attackers simultaneously hijacked four large commercial passenger aircraft’s with an intention to crash them in the main places of United States to inflict as much as death and destruction as possible.

The attacks involved four plane hijackings, two from Boston, one from Newark and one from Dulles International outside Washington. They are loaded with fuel for the cross-country flight, and they crashed within 90 minutes of one after another.

Three of the planes have struck their targets, and the fourth plane was crashed in the field in Pennsylvania. Less than 18 minutes after the first plane hit, the second Boeing 767 United Airlines Flight 175 appeared out of the sky, moving sharply towards the World Trade Center and crashed into the south tower near the 60th floor.

The aircraft crashed into the tower travelling at a speed of approximately 586 miles per hour. The collision caused a massive explosion that showered the burning scattered pieces, flames and smoke over surrounding buildings and the streets below.

After burning for nearly 102 minutes, the North Tower of World Trade Center has collapsed, and the South Tower of New York’s World Trade Center begins to collapse after 56 minutes of the terrorist attack.

America was under attack. In a single day, these deliberate terror acts of murder killed 3000 people from 57 countries. The September 9/11 attacks kept the entire world into shock. This was the first biggest attack by Non-Americans on the United States. The destruction of World Trade Center and nearby infrastructure caused significant damage to the economy of Lower Manhattan.

New-Jersey based photographer Jennifer Khordi finally captured the moment she had been waiting for a long time and the result that came out was breathtaking.

These amazing pictures were captured by Khordi at the World Trade Center by calculating the trajectory from that vantage point in New Jersey. Using Photographer’s Ephemeris, she took the amazing images from 25 miles away from New York City, describing it as “one of the most amazing things I have ever seen”.

‘I’ve been shooting the moon for two years now, and I knew the exact minute the moon would be behind the building.’ She said. Khordi also added that “I have always wanted to get this shot,” she said, adding: “The moon is a fickle beast!”
The photographs that were shared by Khordi have a hit on the social media with massive likes and appreciations.

Khordi reacts to the comments made by naysayers, and she welcomes them to check the back of the camera display that she used.

Aeropostale Selling their Assets in an Auction Due to Bankruptcy

Aeropostale, commonly known as Aero, is the leading apparel company in America and across the world. Now this company is preparing to sell all the assets and thinking to bring the claims against the private equity firm and drove it into the bankruptcy.

According to the details from the court papers, the company says that “reorganisation on a standalone basis is not feasible.” Instead, it will look for the “Stalking horse” to make the lead the bid at an auction which is going be held in next month and will pass the proceeds of any sale to the creditors.

The retailer added over 11,000 pages of documents and depositions produced by the senior lender Sycamore Partners as part of bankruptcy investigation and is considering whether or not it’ll pursue the claim against the private equity firm.

In May, on filing for bankruptcy, Aeropostale suspected Sycamore of instructing a company as it controls to cut off the Aero’s chain’s credit. Aeropostale claims, the company, has demanded money for the goods up front instead after the delivery.

This demand pushed aero towards the bankruptcy path, the company said in court papers, all because of Sycamore’s machinations.

Line Prices Biggest IPO, Plans to Raise Over $1 Billion

Aeropostale says that it will find that the lead bidder by 15 August 2023 and hold an auction on 22 August 2016. If there is a sign that anyone else is interested. This is listed $390 million in the debts and about $354 million in the assets in the filing done in May 2016.

The case is in re Aeropostale Inc., 16-11275, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York (Manhattan).
