IRCTC Partners with MobiKwik on E-cash Payment for Tatkal Bookings

Have you tired of entering all the details in order to book your train tickets especially while booking tatkal tickets? Good, news for the people who will book their tickets through e-cash payment. In a process to control the tatkal rush, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and mobile app MobiKwik joined hands as an alternative payment solution for booking tickets.

MobiKwik claims that users can pay the amount with the wallet within two seconds, whereas it takes five minutes to more than ten minutes in other modes of payment. Now apart from paying via credit cards, net banking and other wallets, users can pay directly through the MobiKwik wallet while booking tickets.

“MobiKwik collaborated with Indian Railways to digitise payments on the IRCTC app and IRCTC FoodOnTrack app this year, and now we are powering payments for Tatkal online, that will help users book tickets almost instantly” UpasanaTaku, Co-founder at MobiKwik said in a statement.
