LG V20 Out for Sale in India

LG V20 smartphone made its debut in Indian market. A Mumbai-based mobile retailer, Mahesh Khatri of Mahesh Telecom, listed the phone. LG Launched V20 at a price of Rs. 54,999 in India of which actual MRP is around Rs. 60,000. LG launches buyback schemes and also offer Bang & Olufsen headset as a compliment for early buyers. LG V20 will be available in stores from December 1, Thursday.

Earlier it is reported that LG V20 price in India will be around Rs. 49,990. However, LG has delayed the launch which is supposed to happen in early November. The sharp decline in Indian rupee made the company rethink about the price in India. Though, there is no official confirmation from the offline retailers about the price of the device.

The retailer Mahesh Telecom also accepts the exchange program from the buyers. The mobile is even listed on the official LG India page. But is tagged “Coming soon.”

Informing the specs, LG V20 claims the first smartphone to ship Android 7.0 Nougat. The aluminum AL6013 alloy used for the mobile built is used to build airplanes and boats. MIL-STD-810 certified device is shockproof up to an extent and can also withstand extreme environmental conditions.

LG V20 features a Dual display which includes a 5.7-inch Quantum primary display with QHD 2560×1440 pixels resolution. Another 2.1-inch screen with 160 x 1040 pixels resolution serves as a secondary display. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.

LG V20 packs a 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to a maximum of 2TB with micro SD card. The handset packs dual rear cameras of which one is 16 MP of f/1.8 aperture with dual-tone LED Flash, OIS and Hybrid Auto-Focus. Another rear camera is a wide-angle 8-megapixel fixed focus unit. LG V20 packs a 5-megapixel front facing the camera for selfies.

The device does sport a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. It comes with a USB type-C port. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC. A 3200mAh removable battery backs LG V20 with Quick Charge 3.0 technology support. LG V20 packs a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC which promises a premium audio experience through wired headphones.

LG has announced their smartphone X CAM in India which is featured with dual rear camera. This camera supports about 120-degree wide-angle lens.

The smartphone is available at the price Rs.21, 500.00. This model is available at the official Indian website of the LG, and it is available in the color variant of Titan Silver. But it is said earlier to be retailing at the best price of Rs.18, 999.00.

The phone is the Dual-Sim support with the Nano Sims and LG X Cam was unveiled for the very first time at the MWC 2016. But it has only started rolling out globally in the month of March.
