LG has introduced latest flagship G6 at MWC 2017 in Barcelona

LG has unveiled its latest flagship model G6 at MWC 2017 in Barcelona on Sunday. Following LG’s ‘Less Artificial, More Intelligence‘ policy, LG G6 packs some interesting features. In addition to this, LG claims G6 as the first non-pixel smartphone to have Google Assistant. There are some features like Dolby Vision technology which takes the smartphone display to the next level.

LG G6 features a 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display offers 1440 × 2880 pixel resolution at a pixel density 564 PPI. It is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. LG G6 smartphone packs 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and is available in 32GB and 64 GB storage variants. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card.

The phone measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm in Dimensions and Weights around 163g. LG G6 smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with LG UX 6.0 on top. The device has the fingerprint sensor on the rear and is Water, dust resistant. LG G6 claims the first to feature Dolby Vision technology with HDR 10 Support. The technology allows a wider color range and luminosity which looks vivid, revealing greater detail for a truly immersive viewing experience.

On camera font, LG G6 packs 13MP dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED Flash. Camera option includes OIS 2.0, 4K video recording, 71-degree-wide angle lens, a secondary rear camera with 125-degree lens. On the front, you get a 5MP front camera with 100-degree wide-angle lens for selfies. Other connectivity options in LG G6 include WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible).

A 3300mAh battery backs the LG G6 with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It comes in Ice Platinum, Astro Black and Mystic White colors and pricing details are yet to be announced.

LG introduced another addition to its smartphone range with basic specs named ‘LG U.’ The smartphone is exclusively for ‘LG U+’ carrier in South Korea. The device is based on the Nexus 5X which is the manufacturer for Google before its debut of Pixel phones.

The device features a screen-size of 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display with resolution 1920 X 1080. LG U is powered by Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.14GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. An internal memory of 32GB is provided and is expandable up to a maximum of 2TB with microSD.

The device runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company UI on top. LG U measures dimensions of 147.6 × 73.2 × 7.7mm and Weighs about 135g. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.

On camera font, the device sports a 13MP primary camera with LED and an 8 MP front facing camera for selfies. LG U is backed by 3,000mAh built-in battery which serves up a day on moderate usage. The New smartphone’s rear panel is a glossy surface which is completely different from what Nexus 5X offers.

LG U makes it presence only in Korean market as it is made for U+ carrier exclusively. The device is available in Black, White and Pink colors and is priced at 396,000 Korean Won. The handset will be rolled out from October 31st.

LG has launched their latest smartphone X Power from the ‘X series’ in India. The phone comes in 5.3-inch HD In-cell Touch display. It is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core MT6735M processor. This handset supports for the 4G VoLTE and pre-installed and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.

The phone is loaded with 4100mAh Non-removable Li-Ion battery and supports PE+ fast charging. This allows the phone to get a charge in just 1.8 hours. The phone is about 7.9mm thick and weighs about 139 grams.

The Primary camera on LG X Power comes with 13-megapixel with the LED Flash.  It has f/2.2 aperture, and video recording support is also available on this phone. It supports 1080p recording at 30fps.  Front facing cam is with 5-megapixel with the f/2.4 aperture to capture the beautiful selfies.

LG X Power sported with 2 GB of RAM and the internal storage 16 GB. It can be expandable using the microSD card. The phone have Dual SIM slots with the 4G network support. The best feature in this smartphone is, you can charge other smartphones by using the USB OTG. The other connectivity features are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

LG X Power with Massive 4,100 mAh Battery for $150

Battery life has always been one of the main factors for all Smartphone users. Battery draining is common to all. To keep away the draining of battery to the users, LG company is about to launch LG X Power. This is backed up with an unbelievable massive battery with 4,100 mAh.

LG X Power will strike the market with $150 in the coming week. As announced back in June this comes with 5.3-inch Full HD (1080p) Display. RAM of 2GB, an 8-megapixel rear Camera, 5 MP front camera, 16 GB Storage, expandable microSD card slot, it runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow (not Nougat).

It is powered by Quad-core 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. However, if the users want to get the handset from Boost and Sprint Mobile equipped with 1.8GHz Octa- core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. Helio also has power-saving mode enabling to extend battery life.

LG X Power Specifications and Price Revealed

The most interesting part about LG X Power is its massive battery with 4,100 mAh. This smartphone is only the one which comes in mid-range to the users with more battery life. LG X Power’s battery lasts for two days or can provide 33 hours of talk time.

LG X Power is now available from Cricket Wireless and US Cellular. The MediaTek equipped version is also available from Boost Mobile. Sprint is expected to sell handset from next week.

The attracted features which are gone missing are: instead of Android 7.0 Nougat the device runs with Andriod 6.0 Marshmallow, and this not present with Fingerprint sensor. By considering the Battery life and Price, these can be ignored.

The LG X Power goes on sale today at prepaid carrier Boost Mobile, and arrives at Sprint next week.
