After launching the K6 Power smartphone in the country, Lenovo has announced K6 Note in India. The handset made its presence in IFA back in September this year. In the line up to the previous ‘note,’ the device is no lesser to its predecessors considering the specs and battery. Lenovo has tweeted about the device release on 14 December.

Lenovo K6 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. A 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU powers the device. K6 note is available in 2 RAM variants which are 3GB and 4GB along with 32GB storage in built. However, the storage can be expandable up to 128GB with microSD provided.

The successor of Lenovo k5 Note runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with company’s UI on top. The dual SIM phone sports a Hybrid Dual SIM slot with 2 nano SIMs and microSD card slot. Lenovo K6 Note packs 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. Another 8MP front facing camera is equipped for selfies and video calling.

The Smartphone also packs a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. Lenovo unveiled the latest addition K6 power to its smartphone range in India. After the launch off Lenovo Phab 2, the company is focusing on the budget phone segment. 4G enabled Lenovo K6 Power launched in India at the price of Rs.9,999 exclusively on Flipkart.

The sale starts at 12 pm IST on December 6. The company’s move to grab the attention in budget phone segment is the main reason for the Lenovo K6 power aggressive price in India. The glimpses of the phone first appeared at the IFA 2016.

The Lenovo K6 power features a 5-inch full-HD IPS display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The device power is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. 3 gigs of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU are coupled to the processor.

Latest Lenovo offers an internal storage of 32GB and is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. K6 power measures dimensions of 141.9×70.3×9.3mm and weighs about 145 grams.

The K6 Power sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor. Other camera options like PDAF and LED flash are also included. Another 8-megapixel front facing the camera with a Sony IMX219 sensor is provided for selfie and video calling duties.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vibe Pure UI on top. Connectivity options in the K6 power include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensor range includes gyroscope, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and digital compass. Lenovo K6 power does sport a fingerprint sensor for a quick unlock.

Lenovo K6 power packs a massive 4000mAh battery which company claims up to 96.5 hours of music playback, 48 hours of voice calls, 13.6 hours of video playback, 12.6 hours of Web surfing and 649 hours of standby time. The company also provides the Ultimate Powersaver app in the Lenovo K6 Power. The power-saving mode extends battery life by limiting the app and data usage.

K6 power also offers reverse charge option which allows the smartphone to charge other devices. The fingerprint sensor also performs the App Lock functions. Vibe Pure UI latest customizations allow the apps to be used by two different accounts on the same device. The device is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey color variants.

Lenovo has unleashed its K6, K6 power and K6 Note smartphones at the IFA 2016 tradeshow in Germany. These smartphones are expected to rollout from later this month.  All three devices flaunt a metal unibody design and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Lenovo K6, K6 power, and K6 Note are equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back and available in Dual SIM variants. All the three devices are powered by the same 430 octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU for better graphics. The smartphones sport a front camera of 8 MP in common for selfies.
