Reliance Global Call Unveils International Calling App

International calling service Reliance Global Call launched the RGC India app on Friday. This app enables users to dial international contacts directly without any need of entering toll-free or pin numbers.

Reliance Global Call also declared an introductory offer with the launch. Customers can get talk time worth Rs. 200 by signing up with just Rs. 100 under this offer. They can start calling at a low of just Rs 1.4 per minute.

Customers can register to the RGC service through the website and can also download the Android app on Google Play and iOS app on App store.

The Reliance Global Call services are available to all mobile phone and land-line users as well in India. This includes post-paid and prepaid subscribers on the networks of Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Idea, Tata, MTS and Aircel.

With this Indian version of RGC app, Users can make calls to the US, UK, UAE, Canada, and 200 other destinations globally at a very economical call rates.

Coming to more details about this plan Rcom mentioned in an email statement that, Rs 1 offer of 300 Minutes of app to app calling split into 30 days, which means each day 10 minutes offered for a month. The company stated that telecom operator would get 7MB each day credit in their accounts which will translate to the 10 Minutes of HD voice calls for a day.

The users have to notice that the remaining data from the 7MB data credit will not be carry forwarded to the next day, but instead, it will be lost.  The company also mentioned that, if the customer uses the daily data credit for the internet use rather than the app-to-app calling, minutes will be reduced respectively.

Reliance Communication (RCOM) has launched new App to App calling service called “Calling Ka Naya Tareeka” at an introductory price of Rs. 39 with 200 MB data.

The service aims to provide app to app calling with high-definition quality and instant connections to its customers. Using this service the customers can use 300 minutes of voice calls within India and anywhere in the world.

“RCom’s 4G LTE network in the 850MHz spectrum band – considered worldwide as the most optimal frequency for next-gen voice and data services – will provide an unparalleled user experience,” the company said in a statement.

He also mentioned that this service facilitates easy voice and video calls without dialling the numbers. This move to promote App to App calling is to strengthen the mobile network business and increase the customers.

“We see increased data consumption going forward. In about couple of years’ time, the revenue share of voice and data will change from the current 76 per cent and 24 per cent respectively to about 60 per cent and 40 per cent with growth in data consumption,” said Singh.
