CBSE 10th Result 2017 To be Released on June 2 @cbse.nic.in

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) formed on 3rd November 1962. It is under the control of Ministry of Human Resource Development. The board affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by Central Government of India.  Every year, it conducts both CBSE 10th & 12th Examinations.

The Delhi High Court said, CBSE decision to scrap the moderation policy is unfair under which grace marks are given for the difficult questions. It also asked the Board to implement the change in Policy from next year. Now, candidates are supposed to check CBSE Class 12 Results through the online portal at cbseresults.nic.in for the exams held from 9th March to 29th April 2017.

No Clarity on CBSE Class 12 Results 2017: Scrapping Moderation Policy is Unfair says Delhi HC

CBSE Class 12 Results 2017 are going to declared soon and every student is eagerly waiting for the results. As the results are getting closer, the Delhi High Court made a strong statement on Scrapping of Moderation Policy from this year was unfair and irresponsible. The Court said, the CBSE’s decision to scrap the moderation policy is unfair under which grace marks are given to students for difficult questions and court asked why it cannot be implemented from next year.

A bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Pratibha M Singh said, the CBSE’s decision which would come into effect from this year “would have a drastic effect on the Students”. It also asked, as the CBSE Class 12 Results 2017 are expected to be released in few days why the Central Board of Secondary Education can’t implement the change in policy from next year.

CBSE Class 12 Results to be declared Today 

The Delhi High Court is hearing a petition by a Parent and advocate Ashish Verma. They said that the policy was changed after the exams for the year and hence would have a drastic impact on the students.  They also said, the notification in not available on the CBSE’s website.

Due to the change in the policy, the class 12th students may not catch up with the cut-off of the Delhi University as there is a chance of decrease in marks by at least 15 percent, said Senior advocate Baldir Singh. The petitioner stated that the students of CBSE would also end up scoring less than State board students. The states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Chhattisgarh, have decided to implement the change in the policy from next year and hence the students belong to these state would fare better than those from Delhi and other states.

Additional Solicitor General, Sanjay Jain told the Delhi High Court that the board had written to the Delhi University regarding some relaxation to CBSE students, but the university has refused to do so.
