Legendary Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna(70) who was suffering from cancer passed away on Thursday. On April 2nd, 2017 he got sick with severe dehydration and got hospitalized in Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre of Gurgaon in Mumbai.
The doctors even said that he was recovering well and responding to their treatment, but the actor breathed his last. He spent the last days of his life in hospital surrounded by his wife Kavita( the second wife married in 1990), children and his other family members.
Vinod Khanna who debuted the Bollywood industry in 1968 is often regarded for his acting skills and handsome looks. He proved his talent as not only an actor but also as a producer. He was a sitting MP in Gurdaspur and worked for BJP in Punjab.
Though he started his career as a villain, he became a hero and got much notable for his performance in many superhit films such as Hum Tum Aur Woh, Mere Apne, Mera Goan Mera Desh, Inkaar, Muqaddar ka Sikandar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Qurbani, An Awakening, Jurm and so many.
He took a short gap of 5 years from the industry and followed his spiritual Guru Osho Rajneesh and made a come back with two blockbusters Insaaf and Satyamev Jayate. He was last seen on screen with Shahrukh Khan in Dilwale. He was honored with so many awards and also won the Zee Cine Award for Lifetime Achievement in the year 2007.
