Amazon has announced the launch of Prime Video service in India. The service made its debut in India with a primary aim to fulfilling all video content needs.

The new video app will compete with existing players be it movies or TV shows. Amazon is offering Prime Video as cheaper at Rs 42 per month as of now. Given that the service will cost around Rs 499 per year in India as an introductory price.
